Seahawk Global Unveils Its New Brand

Seahawk Global today unveiled its new brand: one design system for the parent company, its three business units and every brand in the portfolio, and a new website at seahawk.sh.

The company is now organized around who each part of it serves. Seahawk Infra powers web hosts and agencies with white-label software and services, from WP Maintain and Pro Services to HII Region and SeaPHP. Seahawk Media serves the open-source community with shows, publications and education, including WP Legends, WP Edition, HostList and AstroBeginner. Seahawk Direct serves businesses directly through WP Services, Seahawk VIP and Em Workers.

One family of brands

Every brand now shares the same building blocks: a turquoise mark, a lockup set in golden-ratio proportions, and the color of its business unit. The service brands, where Seahawk’s story began, carry the seahawk itself, cut out of their marks. The full lineup is on Our brands.

The seahawk at the top has flown three times. It began in 2015 on Seahawk Media Group’s blue square, became a round navy badge, and now takes its third and final form: the same bird, redrawn for the new design system and here to stay.

Built for the open-source web

The new seahawk.sh is a static Astro site served from Cloudflare’s global network, a working example of the open-source web approach Seahawk now brings to its customers. WordPress remains at the core of the business, alongside EmDash and Astro wherever speed and simplicity win.
